Where are the toys made?
We have two small factories or workshops. One is in Vietnam, and last year we opened a second factory in Wisconsin, USA.
What kind of wood do you use for Tree Blocks®?
We use a variety of species from a variety of sources. In the USA they include: Ash, Maple, Walnut, Locust; In Vietnam they include Swan (phonetic spelling), Acacia and Lychee.
Where does the wood come from?
More than 90% of our wood is reclaimed by-product from landscaping, fruit tree pruning and lumber mills. Some branches come from trimming around power lines. Some branches come from the cleaning the edge of a farmer’s field.
What is used to finish the wood?
Vietnam made toys are finished with Neem oil. US made toys are sealed with baked in wax. Both finishes are made in a food grade facility. That means they are safe to make cosmetics or even to eat.
